Vietnam Sets First Minimum Wage Increase in Two Years
Vietnamese officials announced a 6% minimum wage hike is set for July, pending final approval from the prime minister, in a bid to help fight pandemic impacts on workers. The uptick would put the monthly minimum wage in the range of VND 3.25 million to VND 4.68 million, or $142 to $204 monthly.
