Net income dropped 60% to $256,722,000 in the fiscal second quarter ended Sep. 30, from $649,001,000 last year, on 18% lower revenues of $2,608,324,000 down from $3,179,758,000, which included a 16% aggregate decline from VF’s Big 4 brands: Vans, The North Face, Timberland and Dickies. E-commerce was a bright spot, growing 44% in the quarter, but it was not enough to offset lower brick-and-mortar traffic, and total DTC revenue was off 16%. Wholesale fared even worse, dipping 18%.
