The running specialty brand had sales of about $50 million and was sold through 1,600 specialty retailers in 55 locations, VF said. Terms of the deal weren’t disclosed but VF said the acquisition would be accretive immediately. VF said the performance market is a large, attractive market where it sees its ability to leverage Altra across outdoor footwear, DTC and its international distribution network.
