Vail Resorts Faces Class Action over Refunds
Brian Hunt is suing MTN in federal court in San Francisco, seeking class certification on behalf of Epic Pass lift ticket holders who were left high and dry after the ski operator closed its 34 North American resorts due to the coronavirus outbreak. After a temporary, one week closure earlier in Mar., Vail said on Mar. 25 that all North American resorts and retail stores would remain closed for the remainder of the 2019-20 ski season. While Vail offered some future discounts for Epic Pass renewals, it has not offered any refunds, according to the suit.
