USTR Reinstates Some Section 301 Exclusions
The U.S. Trade Representative’s office has reinstated 352 product exclusions from Section 301 tariffs on Chinese imports, that are retroactively effective from Oct. 12, 2021 and extend through Dec. 31, 2022. Industry-related exclusions include messenger bags; backpacks; duffel bags; various polyester, nylon and acrylic fabrics; portable outdoor cooker kits; gun safes with digital keypads; various non-motorized bicycles; wheeled bicycle trailers; unassembled upholstered and non-upholstered chairs with metal frames; steel or aluminum hunting stands; and athletic, recreational and sporting headgear.
