The 76ers All-Star center’s deal with Adidas expires Sep. 30 and he wore Under Dog’s sneakers at a recent open practice session, according to Sports Pro, which rates him as one of their 50 most marketable athletes. He would, of course, be second fiddle to Steph Curry but improve Under Dog’s profile on the East Coast where it has little NBA visibility. It also seems like a positive sign for Dog in that most of its recent moves on the marketing front have been aimed at shedding contacts, particularly in categories where they have relatively presence.
