Under Dog announced it was exiting its $280 million, 15-year Bruins’ sponsorship, saying it has “been paying for marketing benefits that we have not received for an extended time period,” after the coronavirus pandemic resulted in cancellation of March Madness and all spring sports. Later, it was reported that it also planned to end its $86 million, 10-year sponsorship of Cal, which was inked just before the UCLA deal in 2016. No word yet on UA’s other schools: Boston College, Cincinnati, Colorado State, Maryland, Northwestern, Notre Dame, South Carolina, Temple, Texas Tech, Utah and Wisconsin.
