U.S., China Sign Phase One Trade Deal


As expected, the two countries have signed a deal that will lessen trade tension between them but will also leave significant tariffs in place on Chinese-made sporting goods, at least for the foreseeable future while they begin negotiating the Phase Two deal that will attempt to tackle the thornier issue of China’s state support for key industries.
