U.S. and China Agree to Truce in Trade Deal


President Trump and President Xi agreed to resume negotiations on a trade deal at the G-20 Summit, and the U.S. said it would delay imposing 25% tariffs on List 4 which encompassed almost all sporting goods imported from China. However, the Chinese have made no concessions on the key issues dividing the two countries and tariffs remain in place on some $250 million worth of Chinese imports, including a handful of sporting goods products.
