Trump: No Relief on Tariffs Agreed to Yet
Again contradicting the signals coming from his own Administration, President Trump late last week said there had been no agreement to roll back tariffs on an as yet unspecified schedule. Peter Navarro, one of his top trade negotiators and a hard liner on China, reiterated that sentiment later saying that the tariffs needed to stay in place in order to make sure that China is living up to its commitments.
