Trump Delays List Three Tariffs Two Weeks


In yet another sign that the U.S. is backing away from its confrontational approach to China, President Trump agreed to postpone imposition of a 5% addition to the existing 25% tariffs scheduled to take effect on Oct. 1. That affects a handful of sporting goods products, such as bags, hats and some sports gloves, but will not apply to the List 4A tariffs already in effect and the List 4B tariffs scheduled to take effect Dec. 15, which cover a wide array of sporting goods.
