Showing no signs of backing off his aggressive treatment of China, the U.S. imposed tough sanctions on Huawei, the tech giant, which has infuriated the Chinese side and also hurt a number of large U.S. tech companies that are key suppliers. President Trump also went back to Twitter suggesting that the Chinese are hoping to delay making a deal until after the 2020 election so they can deal with a “weak” Democrat like Joe Biden.
