Tilly’s Expects Tough Comparisons in 2022


Net income was up 36% to $12,058,000 from $8,871,000 on revenues that increased 15% to $204,489,000 from $177,920,000, including +12.5% blended comps, including stores and e-commerce. Store sales gained 24% to $52.2 million, comping up 20.7% and penetrating at 74% versus 69% last year. E-commerce sales hit $52.3 million, down 6% over the prior year but remaining 57% above from pre-pandemic ’19 levels. By category, all departments comped positive for the quarter, led by double-digit gains in accessories, men’s and boys’.
