Thule’s Q4 Hit By Cost Increases


Net income slipped 6% in the fourth quarter to SEK 154 million ($18.0 mm) from SEK 164 million, despite a 15% top line improvement to SEK 1,846 million ($215.2 mm) from SEK 1,605 million. Significant materials and freight cost increases were blamed for the profit shortfall, despite mid-year price hikes, as gross margin contracted 640 basis points to 33.7%.
