Thule Q1 Turns Negative as Coronavirus Hits


Comprehensive net income was up 13% to SEK466 million ($48.2 mm) from SEK412 million in the first quarter, helped by a SEK107 million positive swing in foreign currency translation and other comprehensive items, as net sales fell 5% (-7.5%CC) to SEK1,744 million ($180.5 mm) from SEK1,834 million. The quarter got off to a solid start with gains in North America and Europe through early March, but retail closures and stay-at-home ordered killed momentum for the rest of the quarter.
