The maker of league licensed blankets, packs and other items filed for chapter 11 bankruptcy protection in NY, listing $10-$50 million in assets and $50-$100 million in liabilities. According to the petition, Northwest has about $57 million in outstanding obligations to trade vendors and other creditors. Ashford Textiles is the largest trade creditor, owed $25,700,013, which includes a $10 million promissory note. Various U.S. and Asian textile suppliers make up the rest of the unsecured creditors list, along with the leagues. NFL Properties is owed $3,366,283; Major League Baseball, $650,001; and National Hockey League, $451,319.
