TaylorMade Sold to South Korean PE Firm
KPS Capital Partners, which acquired the TaylorMade from Adidas in 2017, is receiving KRW 1.8 trillion ($1.6 billion) for the brand from Centroid Investment Partners, a Seoul, Korea-based private equity firm, according to The Korea Economic Daily. The price represents a 12x multiple of 2021 projected EBITDA of KRW 150 billion, up from KRW 126.5 billion in 2020.
