Tax Refunds Likely to be Delayed as IRS Employees Stay Home


Despite the Trump Administration’s efforts to mitigate the impact of the partial government shutdown by ordering IRS employees who process refunds back to work, the Washington Post reported that hundreds of the 46,000 employees won’t report for work either in protest for not being paid or because of hardship in paying for commuting and child care that makes it unaffordable for them to work without pay.
