Super Retail Group’s Sports and Outdoor Biz Comes Back in H2
Rebel Sports posted A$1.21 billion ($866.1 mm) in sales for the fiscal year ended July 2, a 1% improvement for the full year or down 0.6% without FY22’s 53rd week, as comps slipped 2.8% after a second half rebound from the 5.9% downturn in H1. The first half was hit by lower traffic in both central business district and on-mall locations, as well as shipment delays, but H2 saw comps grow 0.5% on better traffic and inventory replenishment in footwear and apparel.
