Super Retail Group Grows Sports and Outdoor


SRG’s Outdoor segment saw sales jump 17% to A$348.5 million ($260.3 mm) from A$299.1 million in the fiscal first half ended Dec. 29, including a A$51.4 million contribution from the Macpac acquisition. Comps increased 3.1% overall. Rays sales declined due to store closures, but nine Rays stores are set to be converted to the large format Macpac Adventure Hub banner between Feb. and Apr. this year.
