Super Bowl Spending Expected to Increase


Americans will spend $81.17 per capita for a total of $15.3 billion on this week’s Super Bowl, an increase of 8.5%, according to a poll by the National Retail Federation and Prosper Insights & Analytics. Of the 76% of adults who plan to watch the game, 82% will buy food and beverages, up from 80%. Purchases of apparel and accessories will be made by 11%, steady against last year.
