Sportsman’s Warehouse Sees Flat Holiday
Sportsman’s Warehouse posted sales of $299.6 million for the eight weeks ended Dec. 25, coming in flat over the prior year but up 59% from 2019’s $188.1 million. Same store sales for the Holiday period comped down 6.1%, increasing 38.7% on a two-year stack. Excluding firearms and ammunition, comps were up 2.8% over the prior year. By category, footwear led gains with a 15.7% improvement over ’20, followed by optics/electronics/accessories (+6.7%) and clothing (+4.4%). E-commerce sales inched up 3% over ’20 and were up 200% from ’19.
