Sports Brands Dominate Apparel Brand Strength Ranking


Sportswear continued its upward trajectory and fashion picked up post-Covid demand at the expense of fast-fashion, according to the 2022 Apparel 50 ranking from Brand Finance. The report, looking at the top 50 apparel industry brands, found the total value of sportswear brands up 10% this year to $74 billion from $68 billion. Nike came in on top for the eighth year, holding its spot as the most valuable brand since the report began, as it posted a 9% brand value increase to $33.2 billion.
