Sporting Goods Products Escape U.S. Tariffs, But Trade War Heats Up
The list of proposed Chinese made products that would be subject to 25% in additional duties excluded apparel, footwear and sporting goods products as well as other consumer products, but products with an estimated trade value of $50 billion in machinery, medical devices, flat screen TVs and transportation goods were targeted in the initial list by the Trump Administration.
