Sporting Goods Brands Fall in Value in 2017, Survey Finds


Seven of the eight most valuable sporting goods industry brands fell in value in 2017 compared to their ranking in 2016, according to a just released report by Brand Finance. It founds that the Nike brand was worth $28,030 million last year compared to $21,762 the year before, dropping it to 21st place on its list compared to 16th prior. Moving down the list, which only ranked American-based brands and didn’t include values for others, Under Armour fell 82 places to 191 from 108; The North Face fell 17 places to 229 from 212; Dick’s dropped 35 spots to 313 ...
