SportChek Q2 Helped by Raptors Win
SportChek sales increased 3% to C$452.5 million ($338.4 mm) in the second quarter from C$441.2 million last year, including comp store sales growth of 3.7%. The top line and comp improvement compares to a 2% total sales decline in Q2 ’18 and -0.3% comps. Sales per square foot increased to C$301 from C$298. The revenue growth was driven by accessories, hydration, cycling and clothing accessories, along with a big jump in e-commerce sales.
