SKX took out an ad in the New York Times and other places with a photo of a split left basketball shoe and the caption “Just Blew It” and “Skechers We won’t split on you.” Skechers, of course, is at very minimal risk of seeing its footwear split on a major college player since it has no school wide deals with any basketball powerhouses.
