The Marmaxx division, whose results include Sierra, had a 6% increase in operating income to $795,993,000 from $750,456,000 as sales rose 8% to $5,801,760,000 from $5,380,918,000. Overall net income dipped 2% to $700,178,000 on a 7% improvement in sales to $9,277,585,000.
