Sequential Brands Has Loss on IP Writedown


A $36.5 million charge to write down the trademarks of the Revo, Nevados, Caribbean Joe, Franklin Mint and Ful brands resulted in a net loss of $24,180,000 in the third quarter against income of $1,300,000 last year, as licensing revenues slipped 7% to $39,025,000 from $41,952,000.
