SQBG’s board has hired Stifel to help it explore strategic options for the struggling licensing company, which owns the And1, Heely’s, Avia, SPRI and Gaiam active brands in its portfolio. Karen Murray, the former VF exec who joined the company in 2017 as CEO, is stepping down from that role but will continue to advise the board on strategic opportunities.
