Adidas topped a list of 20 companies benchmarked by forced labor watchdog group KnowTheChain in its just-published Apparel & Footwear Benchmark Findings Report. The sporting goods companies listed included the Big a with the highest score of 81 points on the report’s scale, Lululemon tied for 3rd with 69 points, Hanesbrands scored 54, Gildan 51, Nike 49, VF Corp. 43, Under Armour 38 and Kering 29. The criteria used in the ranking were commitment and governance, purchasing practices, traceability and risk assessment, recruitment, worker voice, monitoring, and remedy.
