Remington Faces Setbacks in Court
The Sandy Hook families who are suing Remington won an important ruling from CT Superior Court Judge Barbara Bellis, who agreed to allow additional discovery into statements, documents, and communications made by the company’s employees. Remington had pushed back against the plaintiffs’ questions put to its executives about internal organization and procedures, but Bellis ruled “The court rejects the Remington defendants’ arguments that Remington defense counsel determines which Remington employees might possess responsive documents without further explanation.”
