Randa, Perry Ellis Board Continue to Swap Insults
The company’s board released another statement reiterating its commitment to the insider Feldenkreis deal that would pay shareholders $27.50 rather than the $28.00 offered by Randa Accessories. It offered little in the way of new information, calling the Randa bid highly conditional, non-binding, etc. etc. etc. It also complains that Randa has not committed to pay the breakup fee that amounts to about $0.55 per share that essentially levels the bids.
