Puma Now Expected to Take Over AC Milan Sponsorship
Sensing a bargain situation, the Big Cat is reported to be talking to AC Milan about a sponsorship contract that would involve about €10-15 million per year, far below what other top clubs are commanding these days. The Milan sponsorship became available after Adidas terminated its deal when the club was sold to Chinese investors by Silvio Berlusconi. It is roughly half of what Puma is paying Arsenal, its other major club deal and is far below the £75 million Adidas pays ManU, the £120 million Nike is paying FC Barcelona or the £80 million Adidas is paying Real Madrid.
