Puma Net Jumps on Solid Sales Gains in Q2
Net income was €31.1 million ($36.4 mm), up 42% from €21.9 million for the period ended Jun. 30 as sales rose 8% to €1,049.2 million ($1,227.3 mm) from €968.7 million that would have been up 15% currency neutral with all regions up double digits currency neutral. In reported currency, EMEA was up 8% to €416.0 million from €385.1 million; Americas rose 6.4% to €377.3 million from €354.6 million; and Asia/Pacific with a big boost from China, was up 12% to €255.9 million from €229.0 million.
