Under Armour was targeted in a class action suit in CA (Matilda Dahlin vs. Under Armour, Central CA cv-03706) for deceptive pricing in its outlet stores there, following Columbia’s settlement of a similar complaint by changing its advertising practices and Nike’s getting a suit dismissed. Interestingly, the attorneys in the case are not asking for discovery at this point into Under Dog’s internal pricing decisions, but instead apparently conducted their own investigation into pricing in the outlet stores by sending representatives into the stores.
