PTON claims the NordicTrack parent has copied key aspects of its patented business model, by incorporating live, head-to-head competition between users of its exercise equipment. In the complaint, filed in Wilmington, DE, federal court, Peloton calls Icon’s legacy products “boring,” and says the equipment maker is trying to piggyback on its patented technology.
