The embattled connected fitness company’s new chief executive will be former Spotify and Netflix CFO, Barry McCarthy, as co-founder John Foley becomes executive chairman, the company announced along with reporting a nearly half-billion-dollar loss in the Dec. quarter. In addition, PTON president William Lynch is also stepping down and will become a non-executive director, and Foley’s wife, Jill, will resign from her role as VP of apparel, which has caused some controversy.
