Nike Zoom Vaporfly Really Does Improve Times
That’s more or less the conclusion of the New York Times, which conducted an extensive study using data from 500,000 marathon and half marathon times over the past four years. While the paper was careful to say that its results couldn’t be compared to a random test result, just about any way it sliced the data, it found that the Zoom Vaporfly was an outlier over any other shoe on the market and improved times by around 3-4%, exactly what the Eager Beavertons claim.
