Nike Slips, Adidas and Vans Gain in Piper Jaffray Teen Survey
Piper Jaffray’s 35th Semi-Annual Taking Stock With Teens survey again saw Nike on top of the footwear and clothing brand rankings, while Adidas and Vans moved up the footwear list this year in teen perception. Athletic brands continued to dominate, even as streetwear brands led by Vans and Supreme led the strongest share gains. Champion and Tommy Hilfiger led the ‘90s/logo revival trend, but refined classic brands like Ralph Lauren, Sperry and Vineyard Vines hit an all-time low.
