The brand was acquired in 2002 when it had sales of about $70 million, about 0.7% of the Eager Beavertons’ total sales at the time, and will be sold to Bluestar Alliance with sales of about $250 million, about 0.6% of global sales last year. Terms of the transaction, which is expected to close by the end of the year, were not disclosed. Bluestar operates a number of retail brands such as Bebe, Tahari, Brookstone and Joan Vass.
