Net income slipped 4% to $1,396 million in the fiscal third quarter ended Feb. 28 from $1,449 million last year, but revenues improved 5% to $10,871 million from $10,357 million and were up 8% constant currency. Direct sales grew 15% to $4.6 billion, including 14% growth in owned-stores and a 19% jump in digital, driven by a 50% increase in Nike app sales. Digital now represents 26% of total revenue. Footwear could only muster 2% growth to $6,660 million, but apparel performed much better, gaining 9% to $3,232 million, and equipment surged 32% to $390 million.
