Nike Employees Reportedly Subpoenaed on Basketball Scandal


An unknown number of Nike employees will be questioned under oath by federal prosecutors over the bribery scheme that resulted in the arrest of Adidas marketing director Jim Gatto, several agents and some assistant basketball coaches, ESPN is reporting. Prosecutors had already indicated that the scope of the investigation could grow and, as we pointed out when the scandal broke, there is certainly reason to think that the counter bids on athletes mentioned in the indictment could involve the Eager Beavertons.
