Nike, Columbia Close Offices after Coronavirus Scare
The Eager Beavertons temporarily closed their Beaverton, OR, campus over the weekend for a deep cleaning after a case of COVID-19 was reported nearby, and shuttered its European HQ in Hilversum, the Netherlands, after an employee there caught the coronavirus. While the U.S. headquarters re-opened today, the Netherlands office will remain closed until Wednesday to be disinfected. The affected employee was sent home for two weeks, which is believed to be the incubation period for the coronavirus. About 2,000 employees work in the European headquarters in total.
