New Balance Signs High School Hoops Star
Darius Bazley will forego a year at Syracuse before turning pro in order to work for New Balance as an intern in a slot that will pay him $1 million without conditions and his contract could pay as much as $14 million if all incentives are reached. Bazley will actually be working at New Balance in various departments rather than playing in the NBA’s G League, foregoing competition but giving himself time to develop physically, according to the New York Times.
