The NCAA charged NC State’s program with several violations based on the Adidas college basketball investigation, and the charges included one that implicated the head coach at the time for failure to properly supervise his program. The charges mark the first time that anyone other than a lower level official has been held accountable for the wrongdoing and presumably could indicate that similar charges may be coming against others programs implicated in the scandal, such as Kansas, Louisville, Auburn, Arizona, USC, Oklahoma State, South Carolina, Clemson, Creighton, TCU and LSU.
