Most China Tariff Exclusions Have Now Expired
Sporting goods companies’ hard won Section 301 tariff exclusions expired as of Dec. 31, as the United States trade representative has not taken any action to extend them, despite lobbying from industry groups and members of congress. A total of 550 product-specific exclusions across the four tranches of tariff have now ended, which mitigated the massive bill paid by importers.
