Moncler Sales Gain Double Digits in Q1
Total revenues at the luxury outerwear brand increased 14% in the first quarter to €378.5 million from €332.0 million last year, including a 14% gain in retail sales to €291.4 million and a 15% rise in wholesale sales to €87.1 million. Moncler does not break out comps or report profitability data for the first and third quarters. Wholesale sales have been accelerated by the opening of mono-brand wholesale shop-in-shops, and six more opened in Q1 for a total of 83.
