Moncler Comes Back Strong in 2021


Net income gained 37% to €411,367,000 ($486.2 mm) in 2021 from €300,351,000 prior, on revenues that were up 42% to €2,046,103,000 ($2,418.6 mm) from €1,440,409,000. The newly acquired Stone Island contributed €221,936,000 to the top line, or 11% of sales, since consolidation Apr. 1. The Moncler brand saw DTC sales up 31% to €1,429.2 million, aided by a strong Q4 with 31% growth with gains in all regions. Stores comped up 23% over ‘20 and 1% over ’19 for the full year. Wholesale sales were up 13% to €394.9 million.
