Manchester United Revenues Fall in FQ1
Retail, merchandising, apparel & product licensing revenue for the Premier League club fell 4% to £26.3 million ($34.3 mm) in the fiscal first quarter ended Sep. 30 due to two fewer home games compared to last year. Sponsorship revenue was also down, falling 7% to £49.6 million ($64.7 mm) attributed to a smaller summer tour for the team this year.
